Web Reference: Dec 11, 2020 · I noticed it takes a lot of time to printers connected from print Server to appear, the Default Printer always fall back to a PDF Printer even on Session Disconnect / Reconnect! I may have a lack of understanding of how these printers are set up, but we had some printers that were set up using WDS ports instead of TCP/IP ports, and that was causing issues like you're describing. Switched them to TCP/IP ports and no issues since. May 26, 2023 · Some on the printers have started randomly going offline for end users and the only way to print again is by restarting the spooler server on each local PC which is tiring.
