I checked my crontab and realized that I had not directed the output from the jobs. 3 days ago · The error occurs when postfix is not able to write under the “maildrop” folder and hence unable to send emails. This is due to incorrect ownership on the ‘maildrop’ folder i.e. the “maildrop” folder is not owned by ‘postfix’. The system ran out of memory (OOM) due to a large number of postdrop, sendmail, and crond tasks, resulting in system hang. Postfix email delivery fails with the following warning messages:
