As they log in, they are added to the queue's agent list, and as they log out, they are removed. There are various ways of going about this, and we’ll show you how to add members to the queue both manually (as an administrator) and dynamically (as the agent). We’ll start with the Asterisk CLI method, which allows you to easily add members to the queue for testing and minimal dialplan changes. You can set the default type for all queues here, and then also change monitor-type for individual queues within queue by using the same configuration parameter within a queue configuration block.
