Web Reference: Dec 10, 2023 · Best setup for small HA cluster with 2 ESXI hosts. I'm looking for advice regarding a small cluster setup for high availability. The goal is failover without fault tolerance, which allows the VMs to perform most maintenance and failure cases after reboot. I have 2 servers and a rackstation. This is true but that's only because we have a single set of ESXi hosts that strictly run VMs for developers. I do manage it, but I don't think that alone makes me a good candidate to move to DevOps.
