Recently, I have had to create two more sites locally, and I found this guide that showed how to do this. Catching every request to any unspecified IP address and port, i.e., an address/port combination that is not used for any other virtual host. Using such a default vhost with a wildcard port effectively prevents any request going to the main server. A default vhost never serves a request that was sent to an address/port that is used for name-based v... Usually a relative path is based in Apache's install base. Since I'm not sure if that's correct, and it's apparently not loading the files, you might want to change that to the absolute path and see what happens (ie /opt/apache22/enabled-sites, or whatever it is on your system).
